  1. only sorry I did not see the old place before these remarkable renovations. the first time I worked a show the old battery room was still in use it had mercury switches and the lime box was a precarious place to work but getting in to the false roof was just an amazing experience. what a magical place it was, and what wonderful memories I have of the old place. I was also a showman at the Alhambra in waterloo street. the small touring company`s have long gone and we no longer have the twice nightly shows with a matinee on Saturday, it was hard work during the get out and get ins, but great times. I hope to see round the place before the Big Man calls time on this old coffin dodger.

  2. The place is really gorgeous and beautiful.. I would love to come see the theater sometime real soon. I really do love acting, art very much. Kristin Nichols

  9. What a transformation in such a short time! Congratulations to everyone who has worked so hard on this. Can’t wait to come to a show and see it for real – I’ll bet the photos don’t do it full justice.
