The Public Opinion was:

"I have been to Shaky's Croydon and Brentwood shows travelling to the UK from Germany exclusively for the gigs and I must say that this man is really back in the fast track. It has been a long time that you saw Shakin' Stevens as relaxed and cool, well looking like it was fifteen years ago. Also, there were so many teenagers there and the crowd turned both shows into a stand-only concert within his openening song "This ole house." If you miss Shaky in 2000 you'll miss a piece of true Rock 'n' Roll back to its bone. It's a must !!!"

Soeren Heinze
Berlin, Germany

"Brilliant Show, Rock'n'Roll at it's best."

Graeme Dorrance
Dumfries & Galloway

"Shaky was just out of this world at the Pavillion - I actually went to every show on his UK tour, but have to say that the 2 Scottish shows he did (also Ayr) were the best, especially in Glasgow, the audience were wild for him, getting up on stage with him for a bit of a dance or handshake, they really did love him, it was such a great atmosphere & I hope he will return there on his next UK tour in the Spring!!!"

Trudi Hunter
Cleveland

"Tremendous entertainment, Shaky proving he's still a great performer"

Michael Crawford
