From the Novel by
MARGARET THOMSON DAVIS

RAG WOMAN

RICH WOMAN

It was the 1920's and a young girl with a passionate desire to escape the slums of Glasgow dreamed of marrying out of this background and becoming a 'Lady' just like her friend Victoria.

Rory was the daughter of 'Scrap' and foul mouthed rag woman 'Annie' and her opportunities of escape were few and very far between.

Rag Woman Rich Woman was a classic tale of working class life in the 1920's, it was also an enthralling story of ambition and drive.

Written by Margaret Thomson Davis, it has Romance, Sex, Passion, Personal Struggles, Tragedy and above all it was a great story.
