Paras over the Barras
This BRAND NEW PRODUCTION featured everyone's favourite James Barclay characters...AT THEIR HILARIOUS BEST!

THE VERY, VERY BEST OF PARAS OVER THE BARRAS was not just a compilation of sketches from previous shows!

The original PARAS OVER THE BARRAS was a great success with characters  like WULLIE McSORLEY, his sister, ANNIE and man hungry INA McLATCHiE,  from across the landing and the others - all struggling through the war years were  taken to Glasgow's heart. It was natural for writer JAMES BARCLAY to answer the demands  of the Pavilion patrons that WULLIE, along with FINGERS McCEACHIE and the rest come back  to the stage. And so THE SECOND WAVE continued the saga of the Glasgow Carlton residents. This was followed by HAPPY LANDINGS and the trilogy was complete.

THE VERY, VERY BEST OF PARAS OVER THE BARRAS was a BRAND NEW PLAY, taking in all the best scenes from James Barclay's previous three plays and the result is this production.

The Public Opinion was:
Lyndsay Campbell from Stirling says -

"Very, very funny play.  Liked the use of music to link the favourite scenes. Actors were true to each of their parts, especially Ina McLatchie's and Wullie McSorely's. All in all very good value for money."
