The show took you on a nostalgic visit to Alex and Jessie's house as the couple sat at Hogmanay 1999 and reminisced about the special years gone by. It was a special journey of fun and laughter, heartache and pain! Remember all the great New Years UP OOR CLOSE when all the men got drunk and the family and neighbours came in and we would all have a sing-song? ..it was great! A continuous round of singing, dancing eating and drinking was the pattern of the New Year Holiday. It was amazing how many people could be packed into a single room!
