About The Show....

From Russel Lane, the writer of 'Please Stay' and 'Their Cheatin' Hearts', the Pavilion Theatre presented 'Doon At The Buroo'

Laughs were on a roll in this story of life and love on the dole!

When two newly redundant shipyard workers meet two equally jobless women from a Govan clothing factory in the local pub the action became  fast and furious in this fun-filled fiddle of all fiddles.

It was a Giro full of gags as these reluctant job-seekers made no allowance for taking "little jobs on the side" while signing on.

They thought  they were streets ahead of the "system" ... but there was  a 'Snooper Squad' around every corner!
