The St Patrick's Festival was a weekend of
the very best of Irish Craic and Music, as Gerry Browne brought his
troupe 'Irish Storm' for the first time to The
Pavilion Theatre, Glasgow. The show was written by Gerry
and Colin Goodall.
The show was a combination of Comedy,
superb Original Music - New and Old Irish/Scottish
Songs, and the Hottest Irish Dance Duo 'Gibson &
Brennan' direct from the Riverdance and
Feet of Flames troupes. This show
contained a brilliant 4 piece band playing a selection of old and new
Irish Music. The superb Vocal Talents of Colin Goodall,
Gerry Browne & John Hefferman and featured 3 times World
Uileann Pipes Champion Paul Leech.
The instrumentation on stage ranged from Guitar
- Banjo - Mandolin - Keyboards - Piano - Electric Guitar, Whistles -
Flutes - Bodhran and finally the Uileann Pipes. Added to
this was the Superb Harmony Vocals.
At this show there was something for all Music lovers.
You heard songs from 'Danny Boy' to 'Athenry'.
The Haunting Sound of the Uileann Pipes. From Comedy to Exciting
Dance Routines, this show had it all.
