Taking us through
over 2 hours of music was singer Gary
Williams,
described by the Sinatra Society as "the best young singer of
the Sinatra era of melodies in the country, if not the
world". With numerous broadcasts and performances with the
BBC Big Band and the Syd Lawrence Orchestra it’s no wonder the
London Times described him as "one of the best swing
voices Britain has ever produced".
It was "hello there" from our host, the ever popular
David Jacobs,
who joined us fresh from success after his much acclaimed Radio 2
series on ‘Old Blue Eyes’. From the movies and the music to
the women and his bad boy image, he told Sinatra’s amazing
story with his own personal insight and humour.
What
the Press Said... The Daily Mail
"This show captures the magic of the man and the music."
The Telegraph
"A non-stop swinging sensation!"
