Bernard has been described as 'an entertainment institution' and has appeared at all major venues in Britain and has travelled extensively abroad and has even played Las Vegas.

His latest fans include David Beckham, Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie!

He was the first comedian to be honoured with a one hour long special Heroes of Comedy whilst still being alive!

"A brilliant performance from the Master of British Comedy. No wonder he can count big stars like Madonna and Guy Ritchie among his celebrity fans.

 He shows no signs of letting up and just seems to get better with age. It was the first time I'd seen him and I wasn't disappointed. 

Can the Pavillion please make sure he's back again next year? Although I don't know if my sides could take it!!"
