The Hilarious comedy by
RUSSEL LANE
was back by Public Demand!

About The Show....

We joined the Fat Busters of Strathclyde Slimmers as they struggled again  to "Lose Those Unwanted Inches".

Did Wide Wendy ever fit the size 16 wedding dress? Did Dumpy Dorothy get her husband back? Did Mad Morag beat the booze? Did Sad Sadie ever get a boyfriend? Was it the End of the News for Annoying Alison? Did Curvacious Kylie get the lead role in the Amateur Panto... did she become the Slim Princess or the Fat Fairy? Did Dodgy Davy pull off another deal with his 'Fat Buster Pills'?

We hope you came along to see each member suffer as they were put through their paces by the 'Keep-Fit Instructress from Hell', the Deadly Daphne Duckett

Perhaps they were fit for nothing.  Or perhaps they won the toughest battle of all, The Battle of the Bulge!

"I went to see "Battle Of The Bulge" on it's last night, and I don't think I've ever laughed so much in my life.

It was hilarious, and an extremely well written and versatile script! If it ever comes back, I would certainly recommend it to everyone I know. With it being the last night, there was a lot of improvisation when things went wrong, but this made the show ten times better.

Well done to all the guys and girls on and off stage for bringing such a funny show to Glasgow. I'll definitely be coming to your other shows!"

Excellent show, great talent from Russell for writing such a versatile script. And Nikki just made the show real with everything that happened at a slimming club!

Please pass on a great big thank you to all who made the show possible both on-stage and off. They provided the theatre with a wonderful play.

Pity they could not come to EK village theatre! I'm sure they would fill the house as they did in the Pavillion.

I thought the show was just great but I missed nearly all of the first half as my family and I were in the box on the left hand side. Which normally would have been fine but the whole show was done on the left hand side so we could not see a thing that was happening on stage!!!! We did get moved eventually but we still missed most of the first half. I understand that the whole stage is not visible from the box and we would miss bits of the show but not the whole thing! If the theatre had been full, we would have been unable to move. Therefore we would have missed the whole thing!!!

PS The show was fantastic especially Kylie and Mrs Mac who were great.

Before I went along to see Battle of the Bulge it had been ten years since I had visited the Pavilion, but after having seen Battle of the Bulge, The Bigot and Paras Over the Barras it certainly wont be another ten years before I'm back!!!

All three shows were fantastic and the cast are to be congratulated on making us laugh each and every time we are there!

  Well done!!!!
