The Aladdin show was absolutely fantastic, I haven't been to a panto since I was at primary school, which was many years ago. I took my Mother and my two daughters to see the show, my eldest daughter was 13 at the time and the younger one was 11. We all had a fabulous time. The panto was very funny and the whole experience was breathtaking. Tony Roper was brilliant, and I hope that he will be in Peter Pan this year, as I am purchasing tickets shortly for this years show. I didn't realise that you had a comments page on your website, but I'm glad you do. I have only one complaint, and it is only due to inconsiderate people who were in front of us, they had a young child with them who was very restless and cried quite a bit. So they found it useful to stand in front of us while the show was on to try to console the child. But other than that, I'm glad I went to the Panto, and I will come back again and again. Thankyou for such a spectacular show. Margaret

One of the best panto's I've ever seen - it was a great day out for my family. This was the first we had taken our children to a pantomine and what a great introduction to pantos it was! This panto truly catered for everyone, it was so there was a little bit of something there for us all and it was so funny - thank you for making such a great effort! Well done to all the cast and writers etc!

A big mention to tony Roper for keeping the classic written material of Rikki Fulton and the performance talents of Jack Milroy alive! IT was so good to hear and see Sweet Violets performed so brilliantly and as a first time glasgow panto goer it was amazing to see the pavillion hold the classic standard started be the two Big Chinas who are sure to be looking over the pav this panto season! Panto was great. We have went every year on Xmas Eve for the part 5 years and it always sets the mood. Our daughter just loves it. I must admit we missed the Krankies, but it was still enjoyable, esepcially the Sweet Violet song, my husband and I were in hysterics at the words, so was our daughter of 9. The costumes and dancers were magic and the young children were so so confident. Excellent panto but bring back the Krankies if you can.
26 December 2005

nicola mcleod
the cast were amazing, although it was nicola park and tony roper that made my night, when she was on stage, she took over!!Although Gail Mackinnon done well lat year, no one can beat nicola for her energetic performance and amazing vocal talents.Tony roper also lit up the stage, and recovered well after forgetting some of the the words from sweet violets sweeter that all the roses on the 1st night i went, but fortunatly i went again 2 days later and heard the whole song! Congratulations to the whole team, I never thought that the panto could be so good without the krankies, but they carried it well. merry christmas and a happy new year to all of you

To The Pavilion Panto I loved your Pantomime so much. Thank You for such a superb evening. Your Scenery, Costumes and Song Choices were particularly good. All the Cast Members made it really magical. Tony Roper was very amusing I loved all his jokes. Nicola Park was defintely the best cast member. She had me laughing my head off. It is great you are back Nicola. Ryan Flecther was good as our young hero as was Jackie Farrell. Derek Lord yet again was the pantomime villain. he was great this year. Simone Lucas played the Princess and she was good. My second favourite cast member was Catronia Evans she was very funny but she is not shy. You will be superised when you go and see the show. Our Policemen were OK. But they were not great. Also lastly the effects were excellent. they were one of the best parts in the shows. Thank You Pavilion Theatre it was a really good pantomime. A very Merry Christmas to you all. Also What Pantomime do you think you will do next and will the Krankies ever return? Best Wishes Smartie. PS Have a great 2006.

I would like to thank Tony Roper from the bottom of my heart for coming out to meet my two girls at 5.30pm on Wed, the 14th, they were extatic when they came home, they said the panto was absolutely magical. They go every year but this time it was made extra special for them as they are huge fans of Mr Roper. So, from Stacey and Gillian's mum, Thank you very very much once again, they will treasure their autographed programmes always. xxx
