It is with great sadness that we hear today of the passing away of Jack Alexander a special friend of us all here at the Pavilion and one of the all time great Scottish performers, a legend not only in Scotland but across the world.
Both Jack and Tom have played the Pavilion numerous times over their long career and been a favourite with both staff and audience members.
We have missed them over the past two years in the Magic of Scotland and haven’t tried to replace them as the Magic of Scotland was their show and it was them that brought the “Magic!”
Love goes out to Tom and to all their family from all their friends here at the Pavilion.
Since it opened in 1904, the Pavilion has stayed close to it roots producing and providing a traditional venue for Comedy, Music, Variety and all other areas of Entertainment.
Situated in the heart of Glasgow’s Theatreland, the Pavilion is one of the oldest theatres in Scotland but is well equipped to produce the best in entertainment in the 21st century.
There is something for everyone at the Pavilion, come and see!
