We invite you to pay homage to one of the most prolific artists of the twentieth century – John Denver.
Country Roads : A Celebration of John Denver will take you on a magical journey through the musical career of John Denver, featuring popular hits such
as ‘Annie’s Song’, ‘Leaving on a Jet Plane’, ‘Rocky Mountain High’ and title track ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’.
Throughout his career John Denver racked up an impressive 41 albums, 2 Grammy Awards, 3 American Music Awards, 2 Country Music Association Awards, 1 Academy of Country Music Award, and 1 Emmy Award, alongside a staggering NASA Public Service Medal, whilst ‘Rocky Mountain High’ was declared as the official state song for Colorado in 2007.
One of the first artists to sell over 10 million copies alone for his ‘Greatest Hits’ album in 1973 Denver is a unique artist who has inspired a generation. Releasing over 300 songs and penning some of American Folk Rock’s most memorable hits he is true musical legend.
Join us to celebrate the life of John Denver and sing along to his most memorable hits performed by the renowned Wayne Denton; backed by an incredibly talented live band and enhanced with moving video footage.
