HOW TO BUILD A GIRL 2: OH MY GOD! I THOUGHT OF SOME MORE THINGS I WANT TO SAY!
In order to get out of doing her fair share of the childcare, Caitlin Moran is coming to Glasgow, insisting the bar stay open late, and talking about men, women, Sherlock, David Bowie, big hair, feminism, welfare, that amazing heavy-metal kid on Gogglebox who never says anything, and the Revolution.
There will be highlights from How To Be A Woman, Moranthology and Caitlin’s latest number one bestseller: How To Build A Girl, which is the only novel so far in existence with an entire chapter about cystitis.
Blueprints for changing the world WILL be issued. And then lost in nightclubs later.
You know when you’re running out the house and you’re convinced you’ve forgotten something? Like, ‘Keys, phone, credit card, gum … but I know there’s something else ….” Well! Last year, when I was running out of the house to do my live tour, I forgot a couple of things, and I’ve finally remembered what they were: Glasgow, Cardiff and Manchester! I forgot to play there! So, in 2015, eager to make amends, I am writing these places ON MY HAND – along with another London date – and bring my world of vagina over-sharing, feminism, the revolution, and frankly appalling anecdotes about Benedict Cumberbatch, to celebrate the paperback of How To Build A Girl. See you there! And, erm, sorry.
