Celtic – The Musical is a brand new stage show that has been created by Alterean Media with the official backing and support of Celtic Football Club.
The story of the proud history of Celtic Football Club unfolds through the eyes of two families, united by their shared passion.
Featuring the songs that have rung round Celtic Park over the years Celtic – The Musical tells the amazing story of this legendary club and the greatest fans in the world. It takes audiences on an emotion-charged journey from the foundation of the football club by Brother Walfrid and its charitable origins onward through Willie Maley’s legendary successes as manager and the scoring feats of Jimmy McGrory. The wing wizardry of Jimmy Johnstone to the triumphs of the immortal Jock Stein and the lasting legacy left by icons such as Billy McNeill, Tommy Burns and Henrik Larsson.
This is the story of a world famous sporting institution, a people’s club, truly a club like no other – a musical history of Celtic Football Club.

What an amazing show from start to finish, the cast, musicians and crew were fantastic. It was so good to see Bertie Auld there. I would certainly go and see it again.
My daughter and I went to Celtic musical in Derry last night we thought it was amazing really enjoyed ourselves so great to be with so many avid fans.The cast was brilliant so full of passion.nice to see so many young people there another generation of fans.
What a fabulous show!! This was exactly the sort of show that the Pavilion does so well. Laughter, tears and great music. The cast were fantanstic and it was wonderful to see Bertie and the big cup!
Hopefully a return visit has been booked for next year to celebrate winning the European Cup. If so, put me down for two tickets in the front row!!!

The musical was great, I really enjoyed it , recommend it for any Celtic enthusiast and any football fan who is interested int he history.

I was sad when it was over. Couldnt get enough. Even if you not an avid Celtic supporter you will appreciate this informative, extremely funny and heart warming performance. The audience go mad. Didn’t expect to be doing the middle myself. Pure. Brilliance !

Travelled from Dundee with friends. Watched the game in pub then went to matinee. Show was fantastic and so was the game. Funny, sad but very true. Hope they bring it back. Annie
I would just like to say a massive thank you the cast of CELTIC the musical and to all involved for making it a fantistic show and night that I will never forget. Also to wee Jay he is a star. I would also say if you have any free time then get yourself along to the show as its so good. I definite must for all Celtic fans of all ages.x

We went to tonight’s show. It was great to be reminded of this fantastic clubs history and why it actually came about. The cast where brilliant and very convincing. Not sure if they are fans but came across as though they were. The show was performed really good and there was quite a few emotional parts. The atmosphere was electrifying maybe part was due to that unbelievable result of today’s game against our great rivals. Our 5-1 victory was a fitting tribute to the late Jock Stein whose anniversary is today. This was also remembered at the show.
There was also a special guest there Celtics own Jay Beattie. He was on stage and dancing. Well done to him.
A big thanks to the cast for their great performance and good luck with the rest of the tour. Thanks for one “Hail” of a night.
Bought hubby tickets for last Christmas and got dragged along. So glad I went. Loved it. Laughed and had a few tears. Brilliant show. Well done all xx

Most amazing night best nigh ever all cast were fantastic am going to see it again next wk and can’t wait Rosie the daughter in it made me cry we she started to. Sing she was brilliant so was all the cast thank you to all of you for a fantastic night well done love tone there tomorow night wen Celtic win the roof will blow off best ever
I live in the USA and will be back in Glasgow over Christmas and New year. Wish I could see this show :(. Is there any possibility of reruns.
Looking forward to the show tomorrow but have now got two spare tickets as they are going to game and won’t get to the pavilion on time. Is it still a 2 matinee

What a fantastic show !! Absolutely brilliant from start to finish ! A great way of showcasing our clubs great history with all of the cast playing their role just perfectly. Music on the night was wonderful with the ballads making you greet and the upbeat making you stamp your feet ! An absolute must to see if you are a Celtic fan but also a great show to see if you just love football and theatre. Rosie certainly was Rosie, beautiful 🙂 One of those nights that you will remember forever… HH

Absolutely loved the show! Plenty of cheers, tears, laughter and singing along the (Paradise) way. My wee dad, who is 79 and been going to matches since the 1940’s had a wonderful night…The cast were brilliant and the musicians are so talented. My only slight surprise/disappointment was the non-inclusion of the Johnny Thomson song, perhaps this was copyright related (?)… Well done to everyone involved.
Brilliant show, excellent cast, loved the piper. The band were very versatile having cameo parts as well as being 1st class musicians. My husband and I have seen most of Celtic shows and agreed this was the best yet. Also a nice surprise but don’t want to spoil it by saying what it is.
We left feeling we wanted to book tickets again for next week.

Mag, you are spot on we yer comments, It was brilliant to see the crowd ger interactive we the cast. I come home and booked up for Saturday night and I contacted friends in Dublin to book up, they are excited after listening to me.
Thanks Raymond, only slight disappointment was we couldn’t buy any programmes, would have like to have a wee keepsake of the show.

Just watched Celtic the musical absolutely fantastic it was a mixture of fun and emotion I thoroughly enjoyed it and had good bumps all the way through well done to the cast.
Just home from the opening night and Im still buzzing! To say you guys nailed it would be an understatement! Absolutely brilliant. Thank you! xxx
