Hal Ketchum
The words that come to mind when one mentions the artist Hal Ketchum are soul, killer voice, handsome devil, integrity, talent, craftsman, artist, creativity, longevity, amazing songwriter, the list could go on and on forever. His talents are literally endless. His voice is still the best there is. Never missing a note, he amazes the producers he sings for every time, and amazes his fans show after show.
Blazing on the scene in the early 90’s Hal struck radio gold with his first single Small Town Saturday Night which shot to number one on the country charts.
Hal Ketchum is back with a shimmering new effort that boasts a radio-friendly melody and singalong chorus. “Just This Side of Heaven (Hal-Lelujah)” is a well-written love song riddled with romantic imagery. The best part of this delicious treat is Ketchum’s vocal. He has long had one of the most unique voices in the industry. He is a stylist in the best sense of the word, an artist able to infuse any lyric with a sense of drama and urgency. This should remind programmers why he was blessed with a string of hits early on in his career. Here’s hoping his brethren at country radio show him a little more love.
This award winning singer songwriter and Grand Ole Opry member is proving that he can still dazzle his faithful fans as well as draw in many new ones.

this was a brilliant show by a brilliant singer, its a pity it was only maybe a quarter full. hope this doesnt detract from any nfuture appearances by Hal. Obviously not one of the better known crossover country stars and little has been heard of him over here since CMT was taken off the air a few years ago, but none the less a really good show, thank you pavilion for putting it on
