OLIVER!
The Apollo Players, one of the country’s leading amateur theatre companies, are delighted to bring their acclaimed production of this great family musical to the Pavilion Theatre.
Oliver! is based on the classic novel ‘Oliver Twist’ by Charles Dickens. Oliver is a young orphan in a large workhouse who draws attention to himself when he asks for more at the dinner table. Oliver finds himself sold to an undertaker but he runs away and is taken in by a group of pickpockets who try to teach him to be a thief. Eventually he escapes from their clutches and finds where he truly belongs.

Fabulous. My husband, Daughter (7) and I loved it. Excellent value for money and superb performances by all.
This was the best production of Oliver that i have ever seen . They were all very very talented performers .I cannot wait to see their next show .
went to see oliver on the opening night and i must say i was blown away by the standard of the acting abitlity especially from the young principle boys although i must say the girl who played nancy was also outstanding .
i will certainly be buying tickets to see their next show .

I went to see Oliver on the Thursday night and the Saturday night and thouroughly enjoyed iboth nights. The full cast were brilliant and I will definetely be going to see their production of South Pacific. Well Done to all.

I thought it was absolutely great. It is the very best show I have ever seen.
Oliver was absolutely magnificent….i loved oliver and i especially liked dodger(he was rather handsome) lol…the one who was playing on the 23rd November…i would love to be part of that drama group…it was absolutely extatic…you all did really well…well done ! xxx i want to see it again…love you guyss xxx Good luck with future shows. 🙂 x
