Still A Bigot
Well, HE is back! Andra Thomson, Bigot par excellence, is back to cause havoc for his long-suffering wife, Annie. And he is not a happy man! He has almost given up hope of ever being accepted into the Orange Lodge, of becoming a Freemason or being buried at lbrox Park.
And, to make matters worse, he has moved out from his tenement home, in ‘Brigton’ and info the twenty-third floor of a High Rise flat…..overlooking CELTIC PARK!
Annie, of course, is delighted at the move and is enjoying the luxury of a bathroom and toilet.
But Andra is a trier! He’s determined to make his mark in the world. His "Betrayal" by Rangers, the Masons and the Orange Lodge is their loss. The local Communist Party is looking for new members and Andra sees his big opportunity of getting in there and rising in the ranks.
The fact that his son, Peter, is away to a seminary and is studying for the priesthood or that his daughter Jean, married in the registry office to Clarence, a Jewish chap-and who now wants a religious wedding in the synagogue which is "gonny cost a packet!" or that there’s a Hare Krishna disciple living next door surrounding him by religion only adds to his misery.
How will he survive, he wonders? The final straw is when Old McDougall, mine host of McDougall’s pub, and who is not adverse to giving Andra credit, dies. So he is now faced with One Wedding …. and a Funeral!

Excellent Show. Barbara Rafferty played her part well, as did all of the cast.
Only disappointment was the low bookings on Wednesday night.
Nearly cried with laughter at the Hare Krishna and the Priests entrances. Great show. Well cast. Great night out as always.
Only disappointment was that there wasnt a programme. With the exception of Barbara Rafferty, i had no idea who the other cast members were!
