Sydney Devine is Scotland’s very own rhinestone cowboy, a singer whose career began with a television appearance in 1957 at the age of thirteen, developed during eight years touring with the White Heather Group, then changed from Scottish traditional music when, visiting Honolulu with the Andy Stewart Show, he heard the Hawaiian singer Don Ho perform Tiny Bubbles. This became Devine’s signature tune and he went on to sell fifteen million albums, mostly of watered down country and western which has been compared to Pat Boone, with many Scottish fans.
The one and only Sydney Devine sings the great old country standards in his inimitable fashion. Slide guitars, bluesy beat, and yodelling tones.

Hi Lily, I am looking forward to the Pavilion in November. I really did enjoy seeing everyone at the Pavilion, I thought yd was great, I cannot believe I have front row seats, but thanks to Christine for saying they were on sale.
Hope wee Cathy is well, please tell her I was asking for her.

Hi Christine, Thanks for the offer of sharing your scarf, just maybe I will think about it, you never know, I just might turn up with my very own Scotland Forever scarf, ( I doubt it ) but you never know. I have got to admit Christine I really enjoyed the shows, more than I thought I would, after being away for such a long time, Syd still done well.
Oh well I am off to florida on Thursday, how inconsiderate of me ( Ha Ha) I am up for a sydney devine forum if anyone else wants to join in.

Hi I just wanted to say thank you to Christine from Glasgow, for the tip that the tickets were on sale for Syds show next year. I booked up and got front row tickets for the Friday and Saturday, It has been years since I last sat in the front row of a Syd show.
It was nice to see you christine at the show. maybe we can have a pavilion chatroom, what do you think
after attending all syds 4 shows have to say he puts on an amazing show. all 3 generations of my family went and everyone loved the whole show. great entertainment, already got tickets for next year, well done syd.
I was at the Sydney Devine show on Friday evening and Saturday Evening, it was a fabulous show. The last time I saw Sydney Devine in the Pavilion was about 14 years ago. He is still a fantastic entertainer. Well Done Sydney. I used to go and see Sydney every saturday with my friends at Radio Clyde when it was at Anderson quay,
just wanted to say that we loved the show ,what a fab first half too,katie hart was outstanding,hope we get to see more of this great entertainer,she was a breath of fresh air.jimmy was great too,a good combination!!
dear sydney we were at your show last night (friday) and once again it was a wonderful night .My wife Mary and myself have been going to see your shows at the pavilion for 35 years we would to say thanks for joining us for a photo together It was our ruby wedding on oct 3. once again thanks for a memorable night.
