Santa Claus Is Coming To Town: Online Panto!
** Virtual Panto Information! **
It has been a long rocky road to get here. It was on, it was off, time and time again as restrictions for the virus, understandably, kept changing and it was important for everyone’s safety that we adhered to these. This year, it is going to be an online Panto, which is new for us and it will be a different experience for us all to try to recreate a Pavilion Panto for the box in the corner of people’s rooms. We took a long look at other pantomimes that have been on the small screen over the years and felt that a lot were too long and lacked participation for the audience sitting at home, so we have decided to keep it approximately 30 – 35 minutes long and try to ensure that we get people off their seats and singing along with us.
So here is our suggestions, parents, guardians, grandparents, and organisers; it is up to you to get everyone in the Pavilion panto and Christmas spirit! Why not dress up for the occasion and make this a Christmas to remember … Santa Claus, an elf, a fairy, your favourite Christmas jumper or all the discarded Halloween costumes could be used and send us the pictures and we will publish the best and funniest family get togethers! Also, get ready to film the sing a long at the end of the panto and send that into us on social media and the best will win tickets for next year’s Panto.
The fun starts next week and we will keep everyone updated on how it is all going!
